It's me again your friendly newborn baby photographer sussex

This week's blog is a real treat in the form of her gorgeousness Flossie May who came to see us when she was just 13 days old. We always love to have our newborns visit the studio within the first 14 days of their arrival. The true newborn stage is so fleeting to capture it is truly magical. There is nothing like having a dedicated session, as much as it's lovely when their pictures are taken in the hospital by the photographers that pop in, it's not the same as coming to the studio to create something more arty in very relaxed surroundings. For many of my lovely parents this is probably the first time when they can be completely alone (bar me) with their gorgeous new baby. Those first few days can be quite hectic with all the hub bub of relatives visiting and just getting used to being a new family. When you come to the studio the atmosphere is calm; you won't have any impromptu visits so you can really concentrate on watching your gorgeous baby being photographed and generally having a smidgen of 'you' time!!

Anyway back to Flossie May, Oh I do just love that name; she was a treasure, her Mummy and Daddy Ellie and Ben weren't bad either ;) I love these images as they really demonstrate the calm and tranquillity of the session, so I hope you love them as much as I do. I think Flossie May was quite the star in front of the camera and we were so honoured to be the ones capturing her photographic debut, I am sure she is going to be a red carpet stunner when she grows up, and Flossie May if I can make it I will be there to capture that too!!!

Have a happy week everyone and check back soon,

East Sussex Portrait Photographer - Thomas

Hello Everybody,

Your East Sussex Portrait Photographer is back and blogging!!!

Today I would like to introduce Corrine, Graham and their very gorgeous son Thomas. I have known this lovely family since 2010 when they came into our Heathfield Portrait Studio for Thomas' first photographic debut.

Corrine and Graham wanted to do our 'watch me grow' programme; Thomas was just a delight to photograph and I certainly enjoyed watching him grow. This is one of the things I really love about my job, and the team agree. We get the chance to share in some lovely milestones in our clients' lives and I love it when they choose to join our little family and come back time and time again, which Corrine and Graham have.

Thomas has just started school and this session was to mark that occasion; he has really settled in well and you can tell what a happy little man he is from these pictures and just look at how photogenic he is; I don't think I could take a bad photograph of him if I tried!!!!

We started the session with a bright white background and then we moved on to this set. I do like to give variety to the shoots so that our clients have plenty to choose from at their viewing. As I blog throughout the year you will be able to see how versatile I am and hopefully there will be something for everyone in my repertoire :)

I hope you all had a brilliant Easter; it was part work part relax for me and this week sees our Easter family promotion start in earnest, so if you were one of the many that booked, we are really looking forward to seeing you.

If you want to find out more details about our 'watch me grow' programme, we would love to hear from you and I would love to see your little ones grow and join our happy little family too.

Check back soon everyone and have a great week.
