Sussex Pregnancy Photography –

Recently a very pregnant Louise came into the studio to have her pregnancy photo’s taken.

Melissa from Beautify Me did Louise’s nails and makeup before we went into the studio to take a series of shots.

Louise is 38 weeks pregnant with her first baby, a little girl who they are calling Evelyn.

Louise had bought along a few props of her own including a soft toy that has sentimental value and a pair of pink baby booties.

Once we got into the studio we were able to experiment with different lighting and backgrounds. We used the wind machine which was rather fun. After about an hour we decided we had enough shots and some really special ones in there too.

Louise came into the studio and is part of our promotional Pregnancy Photography offer which included makeup nails and a free photo shoot. To show our appreciation Louise will be given a free 8×6 copy of a photo from her collection.

Busy day yesterday in London finishing the Harrods Shoot for 111 Skin, I now have an official Harrods Pass -

Then it was off to meet Carlos from Santander to go over the brief for the award ceremony in a couple of months. Looks like not only do I get to meet Jensen Button and Lewis Hamilton but I am going to be photographing them as well …. How lucky am I ..

Today I have family portrait shoots, no weddings today but good luck to all those couples who are having there big today today.

Hope everyone else is starting to enjoy the lovely Bank Holiday weekend…..

Crowborough Birthing Centre- Newborn Baby Portrait

Georgie, Paul and Newborn Baby Harry first came into the studio to have their photographs taken using our Pregnancy Package, when Georgie was 38 weeks pregnant.

Harry came a while later and was born at Crowborough Birthing Centre. I then photographed the completed family when they came back to the studio to have their newborn baby shoot when Harry was 5 days old, and we took a series of newborn baby shots and Harry slept his way through oblivious.

Thank you to Christie and Carlo who recently brought newly born Christian into the studio to have his Newborn Baby Photography shoot.

Christian was born at Hastings Maternity Hospital, Christie and Christian then spent a few days in Crowborough Birthing Centre recovering from the birth. Christie then phoned the studio on her way home from Crowborough to see if I had any spaces for a Newbon Baby shoot the following day!!… this we managed to do……..

As you can see Christian slept like a baby!!

Pregnancy Photography – Lynne and Rory’s story

Being Pregnant is a very special time in your life, so to have that moment captured in a timeless photograph forever is something that many couples are choosing to do, whether you choose to have photographs with or without your clothes is very much a personal choice.

Last year a very lovely lady called the studio enquiring about having pregnancy photographs taken, her due date was mid December and she would very much like to have a photograph to celebrate her pregnancy and to give as a memento to her husband for Christmas.

Lynne booked in of our “Bumps A Daisy Package” which gives you a portrait sitting and framed 12 inch photograph , when she was 38 weeks pregnant, she then came back later to choose which ones she would like as that Special present for her husband.

Rory was born not long after and both Rory and Lynne have taken advantage of our Tiny Tots Package which records in stages the whole of your babies first year.!

It is now coming up to Rory’s first birthday and Lynne has a lovely record from the time she was pregnant and through her baby’s special first year which as we all know goes so quickly!

Teenage Party Photo Shoot

It was lovely to have Aimee and her seven friends celebrating her birthday at the studio.

All the girls arrived giggling and excited, Teresa from Sister Styling started on Aimee’s hair and Melissa from Beautify Me concentrated on the make-up.

We put on some of Aimee’s favourite music and got the party going!

Everyone had lots of fun dressing up and playing the quiz, with the party food and birthday cake going down a treat.

Now Aimee and her friends have a special photograph to take home to remember their day!

Wedding Photography at Herstmonceux Castle

Thank you to Steve and Jaimi for choosing me to photograph their wedding at Herstmonceux Castle in the summer, the weather was fabulous and both Jaimi and Steve looked great.

The couple wanted relaxed natural photographs of their day and had booked me earlier in the year after seeing my work at my Photography Studio in Heathfield.

I managed to get some lovely shots and even entered one in the MPA Awards SE Region competition and won a Merit ! which needless to say I was very chuffed with.

After some Champagne the wedding party headed off to The Powder Mills Hotel for their reception and evening entertainment, which ended with the wedding party singing a song from Grease…
